CATHALAC

The Water Center for the Humid Tropics of Latin America and the Caribbean (CATHALAC), received the official visit of Mrs. Shana Dale, Deputy Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), on December 13, 2007.

The Deputy Administrator arrived with eight other representatives of this entity and staff from the United States Embassy Panama. The visitors received a presentation on the Regional Visualization and Monitoring System (SERVIR) implementation advances. 


Mr. Emilio Sempris, Director of CATHALAC, was honored by NASA with a meaningful framed picture in appreciation for his collaborative efforts.
